In this update we fixed several critical issues reported by our customers and improved existing functionality:
  • Stability in multi-threaded environment has been improved.
  • The 'jxdocument.library.path' System Property now specifies the directory where JxDocument should search for its native library, and if there’s no native library in the directory, JxDocument extracts the library there.
  • Added the Page.close() method that destroys the instance and releases all allocated by Page resources.
  • Memory usage of the Page.convertToImage() method has been improved.

JxDocument 1.1 contains the following bug fixes and improvements:
  • Fixed memory leak in SinglePagePresentation when displaying PDF pages.
  • Added Windows 10 support.

JxDocument is a Java Swing library that allows viewing PDF documents in Java Swing applications.
You can load PDF document, get information about number of pages, access text on any page, display page, etc. JxDocument provides totally lightweight Swing component that you can embed into any Swing container to display PDF pages.

The library is available for download. We would be glad to hear your feedback or provide help with use of our product on JxDocument support forum.
